My Commitment

I believe in the power of storytelling to heal, to awaken, and to bring us closer to one another. Stories help us see ourselves - and each other - more clearly. And when told with truth and care, they can spark real change.

But storytelling alone isn’t enough. If we want to create a world where everyone feels seen, safe, and valued, we must be actively committed to equity, inclusion, and belonging - for all people.

Everyday, we see violence, neglect, poverty, racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, sizeism, homophobia, transphobia, anti-semitism, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and other systemic forms of oppression and bias.

I promise to confront and challenge my own implicit biases.
I vow to reflect on my shortcomings in the past.

Art is for everyone. No one should ever feel unwelcome, unsafe, or unseen in any creative space. That’s why I’m using my voice, my platform, and my resources to help build a more inclusive and loving artistic community.
